My stay at the Marriott Marquis in Downtown Atlanta had its ups and downs. While the stunning architecture and breathtaking views from higher floors are impressive, the recent drop in service quality and room maintenance left a lot to be desired. I was also disappointed with the dining options, particularly the overpriced breakfast which lacked variety, especially given the hotel's ambiance and reputation.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The stunning lobby atrium left a great first impression, and the service was generally top-notch, with staff who genuinely cared. However, I encountered some significant issues with the check-in process that really impacted my plans. The rooms were spacious and recently renovated, making my stay quite comfortable overall, but there were some hiccups with temperature control and storage space. Despite these drawbacks, I would recommend a visit for the unique atmosphere and amenities while hoping for an improved check-in experience.
